Tiny Town Vaughan is a one-of-a-kind play and learning centre designed for daycares (18 months+), homeschoolers, Montessori programs, elementary schools (up to grade two), and facilities supporting children with special needs.
Our mission is to provide purposeful, imaginative play that encourages children to role-play real-world scenarios and practice important everyday life skills—all in a fun, engaging, and inclusive environment!
The Town features 8 Play Rooms, including the “Around the Town Airline”, the “No Ruff Times” Animal Hospital, the “Cherry On Top” Ice Cream Shop, the “No More Tangles” Beauty Salon, “Enchanted Town theatre”, and more!
Our hands-on and inclusive play-based curriculum encourage critical thinking, creativity, and social development. Children will learn to take turns, share responsibilities and creatively solve problems while having fun!
Our Play Program focuses on ‘free-play’ in Tiny Town. Children enjoy role-playing, dressing up, exploring, and experiencing their surroundings in an unstructured and self-initiated way. They can freely navigate throughout Tiny Town, using their social skills while investigating their surroundings in our child-size community setting.
Our Play Platinum Program includes free-play, the scavenger hunt, and a curriculum-based craft that is facilitated by our educators. Crafts are based on the specific expectations set out by Ontario’s Ministry of Education and are chosen by the classroom teachers.
* Trips with more than 60 students will automatically book for the Platinum Program. This allows us to divide students into smaller groups between free play in the Town and the craft room.
