Plan The Perfect Birthday Party For Your Child

When planning a birthday party for your child, there are a few things you need to take into consideration, to make sure your party is a success and stress-free.

  1. Many kids are adaptable and will roll with whatever celebration you put on, as long as they get parental attention and some semblance of a normal routine. But you know your child—adjust the level of excitement to whatever you think he/she can handle.
  2. For the sake of your sanity, give the party a start and end time. It’ll help with setting the expectations with your guests.
  3. Are young kids coming? Have your party take place either before 1 p.m. or after 3 p.m. to avoid naptime conflict. That’s a HUGE thing to consider. Don’t mess up with nap time.
  4. If you’re inviting small children, you’ll most likely have grown-ups too. Make sure you don’t leave them behind and prepare enough snacks or “adult food” to keep them busy.
  5. Do you wish your child could receive fewer toys? Suggest books, gift certificates or set up a personal donation page for a charity, on behalf of your child’s name.
  6. The facility. Indoor playgrounds, such as Tony Town Vaughan, are the best solution when it comes to planning a birthday party. It keeps all the kids in one place, which is usually a safe place, saves a big headache when it comes to “mother nature” and her moods. And the best part is, you don’t need to CLEAN!
  7. Choose a birthday theme. Let your child pick the theme, help you with shopping and decorating, and take part in baking the cake. Doing so helps spread out the anticipation; that way the focus isn’t on a couple of hours of a single day.
  8. It’s cake time. This seems to be the most important moment in the child’s birthday party. Whether you decide to go all out with a custom cake, or keep it simple and yummy homemade cake, try to do your very best to include an item from your child’s birthday party theme.
  9. Kids love goody bags and they really don’t care what’s in them—they just want to get something! Don’t make yourself crazy (or go broke). Tiny Town Vaughan offers different kinds of loot bags options that kids absolutely LOVE.
  10. HAVE FUN!
